Power of the Grand Cherokee Engines
If you want power, you’ve got it with the 2023 Grand Cherokee, which has three distinct engine options. The first engine you can get is a 3.6-liter V6 that muscles out 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. If you go with one of the higher trims, such as the Overland and Summit, you will be treated to a 5.7-liter V8 that scorches the pavement and conquers the trails with 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The last engine we need to look at is the hybrid 4xe, which takes a base turbocharged four-cylinder engine and adds a battery pack and two electric motors to create a massive 375 horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque, and 25 miles of all-electric range. You can get this engine for the Trailhawk trim, further enhancing your off-road experience! All of these engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission, giving you a terrific ride. The base V6 engine comes standard with rear-wheel-drive, with the option for four-wheel-drive, which is handy for those bad weather days. The V8 and 4xe come standard with four-wheel-drive.
Features available for the Grand Cherokee
Not only does the Grand Cherokee provide you with a massive amount of power, but you will also get excellent features no matter what trim level you choose. The base trim is the Laredo. It is a wonderful base trim that comes with a Uconnect 5 infotainment system with an 8.4-inch digital touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa compatibility. As you higher up the trim levels, you will be treated to more amazing features which will gear you up for a trip into the wilderness. The Trailhawk trim is perfect as it comes standard with tow hooks, a front-facing camera, gloss black roof, hill ascent and descent control, an electronic rear limited-slip differential, all-terrain tires, and an adaptive air suspension with selectable ride height settings. More luxury items will be available on the Overland, Summit, and Limited, which have leather seats, a sunroof, a more extensive and functional touchscreen infotainment system, and heated seats.
