What are the 2022 Jeep Compass Features?
As we mentioned above, the Compass is totally redesigned for the 2022 model year. This revamped version of the Compass comes with a restyled front and rear fascia, with more dynamic, rounded edges and sweeping character lines for a modern look. The exterior features aluminum wheels measuring up to 18 inches, slim LED headlights, available cornering foglights, and an understated take on the classic seven-slot grille. The interior follows suit, especially in the new Latitude LUX trim. This model incorporates sleek and luxurious features like leather upholstery, a leather shift knob, ambient overhead lighting, and heated seats. On the Trailhawk trim, you’ll find some sportier features that go along with its off-road capabilities, like a bold black and red hood decal that also works to reduce glare on the windshield, and a tapered look to its front bumper, due to its athletic 30-degree approach angle. On the Limited, you’ll find features like a Gloss Black painted roof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a remote start system, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Limited also offers a new interior color option with Slate Grey leather seats, and Burnished Copper accent stitching. These details go a long way in making the Limited feel upscale and refined.
What Capabilities does the Jeep Compass Offer?
Across the board, the 2022 Jeep Compass is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder Tigershark engine, which kicks out 177 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. On the first two trims, this engine comes standard with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. The upper three trims feature 4-wheel drive, and a 9-speed automatic transmission, though 4-wheel drive is still available for all models. Starting with the Latitude LUX, the Compass also comes with Selec-Terrain Traction Management, which provides multiple different drive modes for various road conditions. The Trailhawk is built for the off-road trails, with a 1-inch lift for increased ground clearance, and a water fording capacity of up to 19 inches. The Trailhawk comes with the Active Drive Low 4X4 system, which adds a low range, and a 20:1 crawl ratio to help increase traction at low speeds and carry the Trailhawk over rocky terrain. The Trailhawk also comes with red tow hooks, underbody skid plates, and hill descent control, as well as a maximum towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds!

Another main aspect of the Jeep Compass’s 2022 redesign is the new technology for both safety and entertainment!
