The Jeep heritage brand has lasted for over 80 years, all the while remaining a popular option within the SUV market. For the 2022 model year, the beloved Jeep Grand Cherokee is back and better than ever before, with a lineup of five stylish and modern trim levels packed with new and exciting features! The new Jeep Grand Cherokee allows drivers the opportunity to choose their desired configuration, featuring either two or three rows of seats. There are also two dedicated off-road trims, the Trailhawk and the Overland, which provide all sorts of rugged features to enhance your SUV’s off-road prowess. Laredo
The Laredo has a wealth of standard features that go above and beyond to set you up for success! For example, the standard safety package includes features like blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and active lane management. The Laredo also comes with standard LED headlights, 17-inch wheels, and keyless ignition. Inside, you’ll find dual-zone automatic climate control, six USB ports, and an 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include heated side mirrors, roof rails, and a six-speaker audio system.

Limited
The Limited trim shares some things in common with the Laredo while also supplying drivers with some enhanced features. For example, both the Laredo and Limited come standard with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine rated at 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. They also both feature standard rear-wheel drive, while 4-wheel drive is an available option. Some of the Limited’s unique features include Capri leather interior, heated front and rear seats, and a heated steering wheel. It also features 18-inch wheels, a remote start system, and satellite radio. Additional features include LED fog lights, and driver’s seat memory settings.

Trailhawk
The Trailhawk trim is up next, and it’s the most rugged trim level in the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee range. The Trailhawk features a sporty appearance, with a red and black hood decal, red tow hooks, and Trailhawk badging throughout. It features 33-inch all-terrain tires, steel underbody skid plates, and even a disconnecting front sway bar, which increases your front-wheel articulation. The Trailhawk also comes with standard 4-wheel drive featuring the Quadra-Drive II 4X4 system with an electronic limited-slip rear differential which can direct more torque to any wheel that may be experiencing slippage. Other features for the Trailhawk include a built-in navigation system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a front facing TrailCam camera.

Overland
The Overland trim is a great alternative to the Trailhawk for those who still want that extra bit of athleticism, but with a more understated and sleek appearance. The Overland features 20-inch wheels, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a hands-free power liftgate. In terms of capability, it also features front tow hooks, hill-descent control, and the Quadra-Lift Air Suspension System. This system can provide up to 10.7 inches of ground clearance, helping the Overland ford up to 24 inches of water. Other features include a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, and the available 5.7-liter V8 engine, rated at 357 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, this engine helps the Grand Cherokee tow up to 7,200 pounds!

Summit
The Summit trim is the top tier in the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup! This model includes luxurious features including Nappa leather upholstery, massaging front seats with heating and ventilation, and real wood accents on the steering wheel. The Summit also features a Gloss Black roof, four-zone automatic climate control, and a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen. There are also many advanced safety features available including an active driving assist system, a parallel and perpendicular parking assist system, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and drowsy driver detection. You can also opt for exclusive available features like a front passenger touchscreen display, and a premium 19-speaker McIntosh sound system.
