One word comes to mind when we think about the 2021 Jeep Cherokee, and that’s charm. The Cherokee comes with a diverse trim lineup filled with luxury, tech, and off-road features, so there is something here for everyone to fall in love with. That’s not to say that there is no power here. The Cherokee comes standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and two excellent options in the turbocharged four-cylinder and a V6. Like its Grand Cherokee brethren, the Cherokee comes with superior off-road ability and towing numbers that are out of this world. You also get superior features even at the base level, such as rain-sensing windshield wipers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Five trim levels are available for the 2021 Jeep Cherokee, each with several outstanding features. Continue reading as we go over what each one offers!
Latitude
The Cherokee’s trim levels start nicely with the Latitude trim. When you take a peek under the hood, you’ll be greeted with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that kicks out an impressive 180 horsepower and 171 lb-ft of torque and connects to smooth sailing nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but you do have the option of four-wheel-drive if you choose. The features of the Latitude are plentiful and include power front windows, exterior mirrors with a heating element, supplemental turn signals, courtesy lamps, a rearview camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are also tons of safety features such as blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keeping assist.
