Ram 1500 Rebel
In 2025, the Ram 1500 lineup features the all-new Hurricane engine. The standard-output hurricane engine puts out 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. The Rebel was introduced to the Ram 1500 lineup in 2016, featuring a unique grille design and exclusive off-roading content. The Rebel comes with standard 4×4, a one-inch factory lift, 33-inch all-terrain tires, Bilstein front and rear shocks, a softer rear stabilizer bar, and more to enhance its off-road performance. Inside, you’ll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel, black cloth seating, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, second-row in-floor storage, a 7-inch driving information display, an 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and an overhead console. The Warlock comes equipped with the new Hurricane engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard 4×4 system.
What is the Ram 1500 RHO?
The all-new Ram 1500 RHO is the final Ram 1500 off-road model, redefining off-road capability with a high-performance spirit. The RHO begins with the high-output hurricane engine, laying down 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. The RHO comes exclusively with Bilstein Black Hawk e2 shock absorbers designed to provide a seamless balance between class-leading off-road capability and impressive on-road performance. The shocks feature Ram-exclusive Active Terrain Dynamics to improve ride comfort, body roll control, and handling. The shocks allow for greater wheel travel to overcome uneven terrain with ease. Meanwhile, the RHO also features a two-inch lift from the factory accompanied by 35-inch all-terrain tires, providing an impressive 11.8 inches of ground clearance. The interior features premium materials such as Natura Plus leather upholstery, hand-wrapped leather instrument panels, and advanced technologies. The all-new RHO features a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen, dual wireless charging pads, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, heated/cooled front seats, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, and more.
Does Ram Offer Heavy-Duty Off-Road Models?
Ram offers two heavy-duty off-roading models. Both Ram 2500 off-roading models come standard with a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine with 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, while a 6.7L Cummins TurboDiesel inline six-cylinder with 370 horsepower and 840 lb-ft of torque is optional. The V8 engine comes paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to a four-wheel drive system with a part-time transfer case. First is the Power Wagon, with roots that can be traced back more than 75 years. The Power Wagon stands out from the regular Ram 2500 lineup with a unique black grille and a performance hood with a functional hood scoop. Meanwhile, the Power Wagon features an electronic locking rear differential to maintain traction while off-roading by driving the rear wheels at the same speed. The Power Wagon also features class-exclusive electronic sway bar disconnect, allowing drivers to unlink the front stabilizer bar, allowing the front axle to move more independently of the truck’s frame, keeping the wheels in contact with the trail below no matter how uneven the terrain gets. Other standard features include 2.5-inch Bilstein monotube shock absorbers, 33-inch all-terrain tires, a 12,000-pound WARN Zeon-12 winch with a 90-foot synthetic cable, and two inches of lift from the factory. Finally, the Rebel is also available in the Ram 2500 lineup, adding things like 33-inch all-terrain tires, a sport hood, 33-inch all-terrain tires, gas-charged Bilstein shocks, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, LED fog lights, 20-inch black alloy wheels, and a unique front fascia with a sport hood.
