2022 Jeep Gladiator Erie PA
2022 Jeep Gladiator at Humes Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
For years, Jeep enthusiasts have longed for a truck version of the legendary Wrangler. Finally, jeep introduced the Gladiator in 2019. The 2022 Jeep Gladiator is a crew-cab pickup truck with a 5-foot cargo bed and an off-road master. The Gladiator is almost identical to the Wrangler from the front seats forward. Just like the Wrangler, the rood and doors are completely removable. Jeep gave the Gladiator a few upgrades for 2022, starting with a standard 7-inch touchscreen with smartphone integration on the Sport model and an 8.4-inch screen, Alpine audio system, and onboard navigation standard on all the other trims.

The Gladiator offers the classic Jeep upright driving position and superior backseat space. Drivers will love the visibility out of the front and rear as it’s easy to place their tires where they need to go. The standard rearview camera is paired with the optional forward-looking one for crawling off-road. The infotainment touchscreen has attractive graphics and quick response times. With refined materials and best-in-class rear-seat legroom, Gladiator seats are designed to offer comfort and support while you’re out seeking adventure. With flexible and foldable seating, you can be adjusted to fit your essential gear. To securely stow away valuables, lift the segment-exclusive lockable rear seat storage to reveal an available removable bin.
Are there multiple engines available on the Jeep Gladiator?
The Gladiator comes with a substantial tow rating and ample payload capacity. The bed is excellently designed, with low bedsides and a power-locking tailgate. The proven 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine brings 285 horsepower and maximum torque of 260 pound-feet. This engine is ideal for the trails or hauling and towing cargo, plus engine stop-start technology to maximize efficiency. If you are looking for more power, you can upgrade to the available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine. This engine offers up to 260 horsepower and best-in-class torque of up to 442 pound-feet. Plus, its Variable Geometry Turbo technology, eight-speed automatic transmission, and wide track axles with a 3.73:1 axle ratio offer incredible acceleration and the strength to handle the added low-end torque produced by diesel.
Safety Systems of the 2022 Jeep Gladiator
The Gladiator was designed with the latest safety and security technology to help keep you safe and secure on the road. Such as the available Blind Spot Monitoring uses radar-based sensors to detect other vehicles and will alert you if one is traveling in your blind spot zones. Plus, Jeep’s Adaptive Cruise Control with Full Stop is available and can automatically adjust your driving speed to maintain a pre-selected distance from the vehicle ahead. If necessary, it will bring your vehicle to a complete stop, all without driver input.
